University Staff Strikes Deemed Illegal

The first instance court of Athens has opined that a prolonged strike by Athens University and Athens Polytechnic administrative staff is illegal and abusive.
Earlier in the day, administrative employees at the Athens University had decided to continue their strike for a tenth week.
Meanwhile the meeting of the Athens Polytechnic board to fix the schedule for semester classes was heated, as groups of leftist students hindered the process. Classes are scheduled to begin Monday.
