Sale of Greek islands to celebrities a fraud!

News that Johnny Depp, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt and tycoon Warren Buffett bought Greek islands travelled around the globe. All this was too good to be true since apparently none of this wa true. It was a prank that the brokerage company called a "social experiment"!

The truth is that the tangle began to unfold when Warren Buffett denied the purchase of St. Thomas in the Saronic Gulf.

In their new report the owners of Proto Organization Ltd which had made the alleged transactions, announced that it just undertook a social experiment spreading false news about the sale of Greek islands to Hollywood stars and moguls.

Through this social experiment they wanted to gauge the reactions of several investors, while they wanted to show how easy it is to manipulate political and economic means.

In fact, they almost went as far as to ask us to thank them for this falsehood, since they claim through these news Greece became the center of business and many investors have learned that they can invest in our country.

Everything started when a few days days ago it was announced that Johnny Depp bought a Greek island for 4.2 million euros. The news was reported by ANA-MPA news agency.

In the same publication, the company confirmed that Angelina and Brad bought a Greek island in which it was known to have shown interest.

The third lie came on Saturday, when the company in a press release said that tycoon Warren Buffett bought the island of St. Thomas against 15 million euros.

However, it is not the first time company owner Alessandro Proto leaks false news.
