Haikalis' offshore firm
- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
Independent Greeks (ANEL) MPPavlos Haikalis admitted to owning an off shore company after a complaint against him by members of the New Democracy party.
Speaking on MEGA channel's central news, the ANEL MP admitted he created a company on Cyprus, claiming that "it is not an off shore firm in the typical sense of the word."
As he pleaded he founded the firm in Cyprus in order to safeguard his rights (theatrical, etc.) during his professional obligations on the island.
He said he has not declared it on tax returns because there is no income from it.
