Hellenic pavilion at AUSA 2015

The opwning of the Greek pavilion at AUSA 2015 exhibition was marked by great success and unprecedented participation of all those involved in the defense industry, on 12 October.

The ribbon cutting ceremony was undertaken by the Deputy Minister of National Defence Mr. Dimitris Vitsas, Ambassador of Greece in Washington, Mr. Christos Panagopoulos, the president of AUSA General Gordon Sullivan and the President of the Hellenic-American Chamber Mr. Simos Anastasopoulos.

The Deputy Minister of Defence, Mr. Dimitris Vitsas during the opening ceremony said: "As the Defense Ministry we want to actively encourage the extroversion efforts of our defense industry by promoting the great potential of utilizing the existing infrastructure and using the innovative and pioneering ideas its personnel. We are here to inform the international community that the Greek defense industry is here, sustainable, reliable and competitive by supporting the country's efforts aimed at ending the crisis and engendering development ".

The opening ceremony was followed by a reception and then meetings with representatives of exhibitors and international media. In the following days scheduled interviews took place between representatives of the Greek Mission and Defense News TV and B2B meetings with exhibitors of their interest companies.

The exhibitors of the Greek Pavilion comprise: Hellenic Aerospace Industry, Hellenic Vehicle Industry (ELVO), Hellenic Defense Systems (EBO-PYRKAL), IDE-Intracom Defense Electronics, Theon Sensors, Elfon, Alpha Systems / Kouimtzis and Dasyc.
