The solution to the insurance issue is to raise revenues

"The solution to the insurance issue is to raise revenue and not cut main pensions" said government spokeswoman, Olga Gerovasili, in a statement issued concerning today's reports on insurance.
"The government, therefore, is considering alternative proposals to increase resources in the system, refusing to carry out further reductions as called for by parties that have already cut pensions eleven times!" she added.
"Some insisted for us to implement the proposal of institutions, which called for the abolition of EKAS, reducing the main pension and implementation of zero deficit for supplementary pensions" noted Mrs. Gerovasili.
