New tragedy in the Aegean

Coast Guard has so far recovered the bodies of 34 migrants and refugees, among them 11 children, from the sea region off Kalolimnos after the sinking of a sailing boat carrying an unknown number of passengers.
The Greek authorities have rescued 26 people that were sent to Leros island.
Coast Guard remains in the area and continues to search for missing people.
