Greek PMI down in January
- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
Markit announced that the Greek PMI fell to 50.0 in January from 50.2 in December, exactly at Markit’s critical no-change threshold, signalling a stabilisation of operating conditions in the sector, Markit announced yesterday.
Output levels posted a marginal drop in January, due to a lack of liquidity in the market.
New orders fell, whereas employee numbers grew (for a 2nd consecutive month), at the fastest rate since July 2007.
