Fatal Crash at Tempi

An accident involving an intercity bus, a truck and a passenger car at Tempi pass has cost the life of one person and sent 17 other to hospital with two in critical condition, on Monday night.
At around 22:20 pm, on Monday a passenger car attempted to overtake an intercity bus at a no-pass area and slammed into an oncoming truck and ricocheted onto the side of the bus.
The crash instantly killed the 45 year old passenger and wounded his 43 year old wife and his two daughters, aged 7 and 17.
Rescue crews rushing to scene freed 14 persons, two of which are fighting for life in the ICU .
A few years ago a number of students had been killed very near the spot, while returning from holidays.
