European Council President Donald Tusk is expected in Nicosia for a lightning official visit ahead of the March 17-18 EU-Turkey summit in Brussels, to continue negotiations over tackling Europe’s ongoing refugee crisis.
According to Phileleftheros, Tusk’s visit to the Republic was announced on Saturday, when the EC chief tweeted he would be in Nicosia on Tuesday for talks with President Nicos Anastasiades ahead of the Brussels summit.
