Samaras in Vilnius

Prime Minister Antonis Samaras is in Vilnius, Lithuania, today, Thursday, participating in the EU and Eastern Partnership summit.
The Greek premier had successive meetings with the presidents of Bulgaria and Moldova, Rosen Plevneliev and Nicolae Timofti on the sidelines of the summit.
The Moldovan president called for Mr. Samaras aid, during the Greek EU presidency, in order to reinforce between his country and the EU, and in furthering the issue of visa abolition, and eventual accession to the bloc.
The Bulgarian president thanked Greece for its efforts to include his country in EU funding for dealing with illegal migration, and noted his support for closer bilateral cooperation and aid for Albania and Serbia to join the EU.
