Desert sand storms to hit Crete

Public health authorities on the island of Crete note that a new sandstorm will begin on Thursday and last until Sunday and the volume of coarse dust particles will exceed the safety limit.
The storm is expected to affect the entire island
Authorities are advising people over 65 and those with respiratory conditions to avoid exercise and outdoor activities.
