- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
The government and the institutions agreed early on Wednesday on the pending issues for the conclusion of the Greek program review which will give the green light for the disbursement of the 7.5 billion euro loan sub-tranche.
According to press sources, the two sides agreed that pensioners entitled to EKAS will not be called to return it retrospectively from January 1, 2016.
Moreover, the Greek proposals regarding the Independent Power Transmission Operator (ADMIE) and the transitional provisions regarding the new social security system were made acceptable. The amendments will be submitted to Parliament on Thursday.
Negotiations at technical staff level on the issue of bad loans still continue.
