President Pavlopoulos briefs Chios mayor on refugee relocation plan

President of Republic Prokopis Pavlopoulos discussed on the phone with the mayor of Chios Manolis Vournous the refugees and migrants' issue and its repercussions on the island.
According to Chios municipality announcement "the Greek President briefed the mayor on the Migration Policy Ministry's plan on the island's immediate relief from the problem. The specific plan foresees the immediate relocation of 300-400 refugees and migrants. On his part, the mayor asked for the adoption of a plan on the gradual and stable removal of the remaining refugees".
