Mantis-Kagialis win bronze in Rio’s 470 medal race

Greek sailing duo Panagiotis Mantis and Pavlos Kagialis won the bronze medal in the men’s 470 medal race in Marina da Gloria, Brazil, on Thursday.
The team collected 58 points and finished behind Croatia’s Sime Fantela and Igor Marenic who won gold and Australia’s Mathew Belcher and Will Ryan who came in second.
This is the eighth medal in the history of Greek sailing and the second in the 470, after the goild medal won by Sofia Bekatorou and Emilia Tsoulfa in the 2004 Athens Olympics.
