Real estate tax notifications available online

Uniform Real Estate Tax (ENFIA) notifications for property owners in Greece are available online as of Monday.
Real estate owners can visit www.gsis.gr for more information.
The tax can be paid in five monthly instalments, with a first payment until September 30 and the last one January 31.
Finance ministry sources told AMNA that in the vast majority of this year's ENFIA notifications citizens were paying the same or less tax compared with 2015. The sources said that 65 pct of real estate owners were called to pay the same or less tax, a 24 pct was burdened with a sum between one cent and 10 euros, a 10 pct were called to pay more than 10 euros and only 4.0 pct of them were burdened with a sum of more than 50 euros. Finally, only 0.3 pct of real estate owners were called to pay a sum more than 1,000 euros.
