The representatives of the eurozone Finance ministries discussed in a good climate during a EuroWorking Group meeting on Thursday the implementation of the prior actions that will give the green light for the disbursement of the 2.8 billion euro loan sub-tranche.
The representatives of the institutions briefed on the course of the implementation of the 12 prior actions and the Greek side made clear that the two pending prior actions will have been met by October 10 so that the Eurogroup approves the disbursement of the sub-tranche.
The ESM chief Klaus Regling briefed the EuroWorking Group on the course of the technical work and the short-term measures for the Greek debt relief. The measures need to be decided by the end of the year and be implemented early 2017 provided that the second programme review will have been completed on time.
According to Finance ministry's source, the second programme review is expected to have started by October 18.
