Violence reported for second consecutive night in Souda hotspot

Violent incidents were reported for second consecutive night at Souda hotspot on Chios.
Unknown individuals threw two firebombs at approximately 20:00 on Thursday and at 23:00 more firebombs and firecrackers were launched against the camp. 150 families of refugees abandoned their tents and sought protection to a nearby building.
Two members of NGO organisations who rushed to assist the families of the refugees were attacked and beaten by a group of unknown individuals while leaving the hotspot.
