Significant progress towards the conclusion of the second programme review, the short-term measures on debt and the possible IMF participation to the Greek programme are expected at today's Eurogroup, European Commissioner for Financial Affairs Pierre Moscovici said.
Upon his arrival to the meeting, Moscovici said that the Eurogroup will examine how close we are to a staff level agreement, underlining that significant progress has already been achieved.
The finance ministers of the eurozone will also discuss the short-term measures for the Greek debt that will be presented by the ESM, he said.
Moscovici said that the mid-term fiscal targets will be also discussed as well as the possibility of IMF participation to the Greek programme. "I believe that today we can make significant progress in all issues," he said and expressed the certainty that as long as Greece is making progress and assumes its responbilities, its European partners will do the same.
