The European Commission aims at the conclusion of the second programme review before the Eurogroup on January 26, EU Commissioner Pierre Moscovici's spokeswoman Annika Breidthardt on Tuesday said.
"The European Commission is closely working with all involving parties to ensure the conclusion of the second programme review as soon as possible and in any case before the Eurogroup of January 26," Breidthardt said in a statement to the Athens-Macedonian News Agency.
She added that the president of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker, apart from the meeting with Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras last week, he is in constant contact with the European Central Bank (ECB) and the European Stability Mechanism (ESM).
