Compensation of farmers hit by harsh weather is a priority

The compensation of the farmers affected by the recent adverse weather conditions is the priority of the Ministry of Rural Development and Food, Rural Development Minister Vangelis Apostolou on Wednesday said in an interview with radio station Praktoreio 104.9 FM.
"The Agricultural Insurance Organisation will proceed with the recording of the losses so that farmers can then submit the necessary documents in order to collect as soon as possible the compensation", underlined the Minister.
