Stunning aerial dance over Corinth Canal
- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
Dancer and yoga instructor Katerina Soldatou on Tuesday carried out a breathtaking performance of extreme aerial dance suspended above the Corinth Canal, as part of the "Greece Has Soul" programme.
The event was held in order to raise awareness of the environment and the need to respect the history of each place.
The Lefkada-born dancer has said she wants to highlight the country’s natural beauties through a project that weds Greek landmarks with music, image and aerial dance.
She has already staged similar performances on the Aegean island of Santorini, the massive rock pinnacles of Meteora in central Greece, and Mount Parnitha, west of Athens.
