PM Tsipras: Greece has historical ties with Serbia

Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras referred to Greece's historical ties with Serbia in a meeting with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic on Thursday.
This meeting is the first step for the promotion of bilateral cooperation for security and stability in the wider region of the Balkans, Tsipras said and congratulated Vucic on his election as a president.
The Serbian President spoke of the cooperation agreements that are expected to be signed after the meeting.
Meanwhile, meetings between ministers are also being held. After the conclusion of the contacts, bilateral agreements will be signed followed by a joint press conference of Tsipras and Vucic.
The Greek-Serbian High-Level Cooperation Council is expected to convene soon after.
