Three fire fronts on Zakynthos

A new fire broke out on Wednesday afternoon on the island of Zakynthos, with active fronts now rising to three, making the work of firefighters even more difficult.
Before the fire that occurred in the Ornithies area, could be dealt with, a new blaze appeared on Wednesday afternoon near the monastery of St. George of the Cliffs, located in Navagio, just a few kilometers from Orthonis.
The fire broke out from an unknown cause, and immediately the fire brigade forces were on their way to the other active fronts.
That there are still 13 firefighting vehicles with 30 firefighters at the Fire Service, while two Canadair aircraft are also operating in the air.
As far as the fire in Orthonies is concerned, after the conflagration of large wooded areas, there is a better pictur battling the blaze, while 14 vehicles with 30 firefighters and 56 firefighters on foot remain. On the third front, in Volimes, the fire is in recession.
