A group called "residents and regulars of Exarchia" has claimed responsibility for the firebomb attack against the residence of State Minister Alekos Flambouraris in the Athens district of Exarchia on August 29.
In a message posted on an anti-establishment website, the group claims that "the state is frantically trying to impose police dominance in Exarchia to destroy its extensive self-organized structures and the free public space".
Fifteen hooded individuals threw petrol bombs to the minister's house which caused damages to a car of his security detail but no injuries.
