Yet another injurious brawl among immigrants in Moria camp

A 28-year-old Syrian man was hospitalized at Mytilini Hospital after a long surgery, after being taken there by paramedics on Monday night, The man was severely injured with a knife wound to his belly.
The injuries occurred during yet another conflict among migrants and refugees of different ethnicities residing in the Moria reception and identification camp.
The a 19-year-old Iraqi seen as the attacker of the 28-year-old was arrested and referred to Justice on charges of attempted homicide by intent.
It should be noted that officially, according to a report released on Wednesday by the Ministry of Interior, there are 6,430 people in the Moria settlement, in infrastructures that have been built for 2,330 people. Altogether in Lesvos and specifically in structures in the Mytilene region, which has 32,000 inhabitants, there are 8,221 refugees and immigrants.
