Another two climbers rescued from Mount Olympus

Forces of the 8th EMAK energency rescue team proceeded with a rescue and extrication operation of two mountaineers who were at the sanctuary of Agios Antonios on Mount Olympus, on Tuesday night.
The two mountaineers requested EMAK assistance on Tuesday afternoon because they were trapped by the ice and snow in the area.
Both climbers are in good health.
Rescue crews succeeded and brought down the two climbers from the mountain around 22:10 on Tuesday night. Nine EMAK men with 4 vehicles participated in the operation.
