Qatar airways launch direct flights to Mykonos

Doha based Qatar Airways announced a new addition to its direct flights to Greece, Mykonos.
The new flights are set to start on 30 May just before massive tourist flow to the popular island begins. The airline has chartered an Airbus A320, with a 132 seat capacity in Economy and 12 business class seats.
Qatar Airways that was named “Airline of The Year” for 2017 at the Skytrax World Airline Awards currently operate two direct destinations around the nation- Athens, Thessaloniki from Doha airport.
“Mykonos has long been one of our most sought-after European destinations, and we are very proud to be the first Gulf carrier to serve Mykonos directly,” Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Akbar Al Baker stated.
“The island’s central location among the Cyclades makes it an extremely attractive holiday destination. We look forward to offering holidaymakers the convenience of direct service to this enchanting island this summer.”
