Special operations exercise in Attica features special forces from Balkan countries

A tactical exercise with the participation of special operations (SPECOP) units of 4 Balkan countries, begins today in the wider area of Attica.
This following a Greek initiative and under the coordination of the interdepartmental administration of special operations of the Hellenic Armed Forces General Staff.
SALAMIS STORM 2018 will be attended by personnel of special forces of the Armed Forces of Greece, Bulgaria, Romania and Serbia, while observers from Cyprus, Egypt, Estonia, the USA, Jordan, Israel and Poland are also invited.
The purpose of the exercise, to be completed on 9 June, is "to promote the level of military cooperation and interoperability of participating units" according to the official announcement.
