Pence congratulates Tsipras on agreement with FYROM

US Vice President Mike Pence had a telephone conversation with Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras to congratulate him on the agreement with FYROM.
According to the prime minister's press office, Tsipras stressed the importance of this agreement for stability and co-development in the Balkans.
In addition, the prime minister discussed with Pence the strengthening of Greek-American economic relations, particularly in view of the Thessaloniki International Fair in which the US will be the honored country, as well as Greek-Turkish relations and Turkey's role in the wider region.
