Mitsotakis offers party volunteers to fight fires

The President of New Democracy, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, contacted Civil Protection General Secretary Yannis Kapakis, briefly to get information on the firy fronts that are in full swing,around the country.
Mr. Mitsotakis expressed hopes that the fire brigade would put the fires under control in the next few hours despite the adverse weather conditions and asked him to contact him directly if the service thought ND could help, saying that all ND volunteers are at all times ready to assist in the efforts to extinguish major fires.
