Rubikon storms the Embassy of Austria
- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
An invasion of the Embassy of Austria took place at noon on Friday by the anarchist group Rubicon.
In a text they posted on an anti-establishment site, they say they did it after the Austrian Parliament passed the 12-hour weekly employment law.
In a 28-second video, the members of the group appear to approach the entrance of the building in Vasilissis Sofias and swiftly entering. They threw flyers and left as fast as they entered.
It should be reminded that last May members of Rubicon had threw flyers at the home of the Ambassador of Austria in Psychiko. Then they had stated that the reason for their action was the stance of Austria’s and the EU’s towards refugees.
