Fire in Didimoticho, near Turkey

A fire alarm has been triggered by the fire that broke out in a forest area at the Tsigla grove in Didimoticho, near the border with Turkey.
According to the Fire Brigade, 34 firefighters with 12 vehicles, and a group of 10 hikersfirefightrers on foot rushed to the scene, while a fire helicopter aided their efforts.
As evros-news.gr relayed, the fire started from the small lake that exists on the side of the village of Psathades and quickly flared up.
The fire is considered dangerous as it is burning near a hotel, military units and a substation of the PPC.
