Thriasio freight center is being auctioned at half price from 2009 bid

Lower financial compensation for the State is provided by the concession agreement submitted to the House for the construction of a freight center in the Thriasio field, as compared to previous notices for the same tender.
The debate will take place on Thursday, in parliament, on the concession agreement, with the opposition talking about a scandal, while government circles argue that everything has been done right attributing reactions to business interests.
In an earlier tender that started in 2006 and was completed in 2009, a binding offer was submitted by the Ellaktor SA - Aktor SA - Goldair - Teotec SA - Hellenic Logistics Transport SA. At that time there was no one-off price, but an annual reimbursement amounting to EUR 1,400,963 for the first year of the concession period, increased by 30% after the completion of the first 1.5-year construction period (T1).
