Eleni Chatziliadou becomes karate world champion in Spain

Greek karate champion Eleni Chatziliadou defeated her Japanese opponent Ayumi Uekusa in the +68kg final for the 2018 Karate Championships in Spain to become world champion.
The Greek finally conquered the top spot after beating her Japanese rival by 3 points to zero. Two years ago the Greek karateka had lost in the final in Austria to Uekusa.
