New Turkish violations in the Aegean
- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
Three Turkish aircraft violations took place on Monday, December 3, in the Northeast and Southeast Aegean.
There was also a mock dogfight between Greek and Turkish fighters.
The 17 Turkish aircraft (eight F-16s and two F-4s flying in formations and three CN-235s) also made nine infringements of the air traffic rules within Athens FIR.
It is worth noting that the two Turkish fighters were armed.
These aircraft were identified and intercepted in accordance with international rules.
