Greek Super Mario runs 270 klms under blistering Dubai sun

In the desert of Al Marmoom in Dubai, Marios Yiannakou crossed the long stretch under the hot sun, thus conquering another goal!
The 26-year-old super-Athlete from Drama ran 270 km on the desert in the United Arab Emirates and became the first Greek and the youngest runner in the world to finish in the longest and most difficult foot race.
In the race that took place from 11 to 15 December, a total of 50 athletes from 39 countries participated, but only 18 athletes finished. Marios Yiannakou recently finished in the 150 km race in the Arctic, at a temperature of -30 degrees Celsius!
