ND leader Mitsotakis celebrated Epiphany in firestricken Rafina

"2019 will be a year full of light because New Democracy will guarantee stability, security and well-being for all Greeks," New Democracy (ND) leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis said on Sunday marking Epiphany Day from the port town of Rafina.
Mitsotakis expressed his trust on the judgment of Greek people and his wish that 2019 will be the joyful and enlightened year that all Greeks will remember as the beginning of the country's rebirth.
Following the end of the celebrations, Mitsotakis visited a support centre set up at Rafina, which distributes food and necessities to the victims of last summer's wildfires.
"One of the reasons why I chose to attend Epiphany Day celebrations here in Rafina," he said, "is because I want to show my ongoing interest in healing the wounds caused by the recent disaster, as we have heard too many promises already."
