Within the nose of Ariane 5, the world's most powerful launcher, the Hellas Sat 4 satellite charges its special batteries at the European Space Station located in Kourou, French Guiana.
In the jungle of South America, in the space launch area located in the French overseas region right next to Ecuador, everything is ready for the launch on Tuesday, February 5.
The Ariane 5 launcher, flying the flags of Greece and Cyprus at its top, will launch Hellas Sat 4, to the "special payload fairing in which it has already been installed and sealed", according to the CEO of Hellas Sat and President of Hellenic Space Organisation, Christodoulos Protopappas.
The new satellite will be placed in the orbital position of Greece and Cyprus at 39 degrees east, where it will meet Hellas Sat 3 already in orbit since 2017.
The Hellas Sat 4 satellite will provide innovative satellite services, expanding the operations of Hellas Sat in Europe, the Middle East and South Africa and is one of the most modern in the world.
