Hellenic Navy Chief makes significant contatcts in the UAE

The Chief of the Hellenic Navy General Staff, Vice-Admiral Nikolaos Tsounis, paid an official visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), from 15 to 18 February 2019, following an official invitation by his counterpart, Vice Admiral Saeed Bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, at the IDEX 2019 (International Defense Exhibition and Conference).
During his visit, the Hellenic Navy Chief met and discussed with his counterpart issues of mutual interest as well as initiatives to strengthen the cooperation of the two Navy.
During his visit, Vice-Admiral Nikolaos Tsounis had the opportunity to be informed about developments in defense equipment, naval technology, and shipbuilding. He visited stands of Hellenic Companies, Hellenic Aviation Industry, and Hellenic Defense Systems, as well as Booths of International Companies.
He also met with H. H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, and with the Greek Ambassador to the UAE Dr Aikaterini Boura.
