You can get paid to live on an idyllic Greek island

Do you dream of an idyllic life on a Greek island away from it all? If that sounds like music to your ears, you can be paid to live in Antikythera – an eight-mile stretch of land – with just 20 other people.
The island’s ageing population is shrinking, and even the school had shut its operations for 24 years until a family with three children moved in 2018.
The Greek Orthodox Church is helping in the campaign to populate the island and is helping in the search to find families to jumpstart growth.
Chosen applicants have been promised a house, a piece of land for farming and a monthly stipend of $566 for their first three years of residence.
Antikythera is a small Aegean island just opposite from Kythera, a larger island, and it is located approximately halfway between Crete and the Peloponnese.
