World famous Greek sculptor Takis passes

The world-famous Greek sculptor Panagiotis Vassilakis, known as Takis, passed away at the age of 93.
News of his death was announced by the Takis Foundation, which states: "With deep sadness the Takis Foundation announces the loss of the international sculptor Panagiotis Vassilakis, known as Takis. A true pioneer, revolutionary and legend. It will remain forever unforgettable. A productive and creative mind whose ingenuity, passion and imagination were endless, Takis explored many artistic and scientific horizons, including music and theater, and redefined the boundaries of art.
Thanks to his multi-dimensional creative genius, his generosity and his great intuition, Takis was ahead of his time, contributing to his international success. Today, we have all lost an excellent spirit. The Takis Foundation expresses its deepest condolences to the members of his family, his relatives and friends. The biggest tribute we can pay today is to continue to follow his visionary path, where - quoting Taki 's words - "everything is mind and movement" so as to perpetuate his unique legacy.
