Admiral Makarov frigate docks at Corfu until October 1

The Admiral Makarov frigate of the Russian Navy's Black Sea fleet docked at Corfu port on Friday, as part of the 17th Hellenic-Russian Week at Corfu and the islands of the Ionian Sea.
A reading of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov's greeting was held by Russian Ambassador to Greece Andrey Maslov on Saturday, with a wreath laying at the Ioannis Kapodistrias Monument, at the Saint Theodore Ushakov monument-patron saint of the Russian Navy, and at the monument of the Fallen Greeks and Russians.
A concert is scheduled to take place in Corfu city on Sunday from 19:00 to 21:00 with the participation of the Russian Black Sea Fleet's orchestra and dance group.
Monday will see a roundtable discussion with a delegation from the Republic of Mordovia and the authorities of the island of Corfu on Russian-Greek cooperation in tourism and economy.
