Tsipras gets chewed out on flight over Macedonian issue

Featured Tsipras gets chewed out on flight over Macedonian issue

A person well-known from the rallies for Macedonia, journalist Georgia Bytakou, found herself on the same plane as Alexis Tsipras, with the former prime minister hearing her scathing criticism on the Macedonian issue.

When the lady noticed that the former prime minister was on the plane, approaching him without revealing her intentions, she asked him if he knew Karavitis. "It says something, but ..." Alexis Tsipras replied, followed by a deluge of accusations by Ms Bytakou.

"Oh, it says something to you. It was Paul Melas's first officer," she said, and then attacked the former prime minister in a poignat and harsh manner, prompting Alexis Tsipras' security men to ask her to leave.

The verbal attack on Tsipras inside the plane

"You sold your homeland, you're a traitor, you should be in prison. You are free, but you will soon be in prison. That's where you naturally should be. You are the worst fascist and traitor to your homeland," she told Alexis Tsipras.

While this lady was talking to Alexis Tsipras while filming with her cellphone, Mr Tsipras and Efi Achsioglou watched and smiled shyly. Eventually the security of SYRIZA's president discreetly removed Georgia Bytakos, who went on to say "he destroyed the country, sold out my Ancestors' History and is still free."
