Storm causes two to drown in Antirrio

Two men were found dead after drowning in Antirrio, on Sunday night when a boat they were aboard capsized.
Investigations were carried out throughout the night to find the second person on board when it was overturned by bad weather. At 2 in the morning one of the two occupants of the boat was found dead, after hours of efforts. In the early hours of the morning, it became known that the second passenger on the sailboat was also found.
The sailing boat was on the east pier of Antirrio when it was capsized by high winds. Divers from Patras rushed to the spot, where it was difficult for several hours to find the two men. After recovering the first victim, members of the fire brigade and coast guard identified him in the early hours of the morning.
