2.5 billion euros will upgrade Greece's railway network in MOC to be signed on Friday

Minister of Infrastructure and Transport Kostas Karamanlis will on Friday sign a Memorandum of Cooperation (MOC) with TrainOSE S.A., Greece's operator of passenger and freight trains, which will reportedly channel some 2.5 billion euros into the upgrading of the country’s railway network.
The MOC will be signed in the presence of parent company Trenitalia, the primary train operator in Italy, and the Italian Ambassador to Greece Luigi Maras.
