5.3 earthquake strikes off Kassos island

An earthquake measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale was recorded at 23:58 on Tuesday in the sea region 40 klm west-north west of Kassos island.
According to the Athens Geodynamics Institute, the tremor’s epicentre is located 377 kilometres southeast of Athens.
There were no reports of victims or damage.
