Balkan Forum focused on building innovative business ecosystem

Deputy Interior Minister Theodoros Karaoglou, responsible for Macedonia and Thrace, held successive meetings with consular representatives of Balkan countries in Thessaloniki, ahead of the 2nd Balkan Forum scheduled in the city on March 27 and 28, 2020, a statement said on Friday.
The two-day forum theme is "Enterpreneurship and innovation", and will focus on the innovative aspect of collaborative development in Balkan countries.
Commenting on the forum, Karaoglou said "we are attempting a new start with mutual benefits to our inter-country relations."
"The borders between countries are not obstacles," he noted, "but must become gates to an innovative business ecosystem that will lead us to a renewable future of sustainable growth and prosperity for our peoples."
