Mount Athos extends ban on visits until April 30

The civil administration of Mount Athos decided to extend the ban on pilgrims visiting the Monasteries on the Athos peninsula until April 30.
According to the decision, the employees and the necessary professionals are excluded.
“The authorities and services on Mount Athos are requested and called upon to comply with the instructions of the above Holy Bodies and the Mount Athos Administration, as well as any governmental order or directive,” the decision said.
