Culture Minister Lina Mendoni will participate in Thursday's press briefing by government spokesperson Stelios Petsas, who will present and give details regarding the support measures in the field of culture.
According to government sources, "more categories of workers will be added to the measures already announced as well as short-term and medium-term support for the culture sector."
These actions will be added to the government's initiatives to support the people of culture, such as, for example, an800-euro special purpose compensation to employees with active contracts or people belonging to special categories before the restriction measures, as well as programmes for unemployed artists.
The support of those working in the culture sector was the issue of a video conference chaired by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Wednesday.
