Severe weather stops activities postpones vaccinations

The "Medea" severe weather front is in full swing, hitting Attica with heavy snowfall which in several areas have caused serious problems in the traffic of vehicles, public transport, but also in electricity.
On the occasion of the continuing intense phenomena and the heavy snowfall that have closed many roads and have created intense problems in transportation, the General Secretariat of Civil Protection has issued a new strong recommendation to the residents of all Attica not to move in the next hours.
In the strong recommendation issued by the General secretariat, which will meet again at 11:00 under the Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, it states: "According to EMY the weather phenomena are intensifying and will continue to be intense in the coming hours and for this reason we address a strong recommendation to the residents and employees of all Attica to avoid unnecessary travel for the next hours. Residents should not make any move they can avoid, or postpone it, and employees who need to move should do so after 10:00 a.m. and in consultation with their employer. The snowfall will be continuous until 10 in the morning and it is recommended that all citizens be extremely careful in any absolutely necessary movements. The situation will be re-evaluated in the next three hours ".
Today's vaccinations are postponed
At the same time, as announced by the Ministry of Health due to the severe weather phenomena, the current vaccinations are postponed in all vaccination centers of Attica. Citizens who have their vaccination scheduled for today will be notified of their appointment rescheduling. In Evia the vaccinations will be done normally.
